Chocolate Zen Bakery is a local Winnipeg bakery that specializes in a modern European style of baking.  Our commitment to our customers is only surpassed by the commitment to ourselves to produce the finest desserts possible. The intense flavour of natural-whole ingredients is unmasked by additives, artificial flavouring.

Chocolate Zen Bakery is owned and operated by three talented individuals, Danielle Barkman, Douglas Krahn and Betty Lai.  Doug and Betty have been pastry chefs for over 14 years and have created masterpieces for many dignitaries, and stars such as Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Lopez and even Ashley Banfield!  Our philosophy is simple, to use the finest and freshest ingredients possible to make quality tortes and desserts.

Our location is 553 Osborne Street South at the corner of Osborne and Morley.  There is customer parking along the street as well as behind our store.  The atmosphere we create at Chocolate Zen is calming and inviting.  It isn't all that mysterious, it's just the simple idea that affordable never has to mean cheap - the belief that desserts tastes better when it's  served in an environment that doesn't feel plastic or manufactured but decadent and soothing.
